Bhubaneswar:13.11.2024 Pradipta Kumar Sahoo, Junior Assistant (in charge of Accounts), office of BEO, Khordha has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and taking bribe of Rs. 6000/- from a complainant for facilitating release of bill of differential pay in favour of his sister who is a retired primary school teacher towards her incremental benefits. The entire bribe money has been recovered from possession of accused Sri Sahoo and seized. It is informed bi Odisha Vigilance in a press release. Following the trap, search is going on at one location of Sri Sahoo from DA angle. In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case No 23/2024 U/s-7PC (Amendment)Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress against accused Sri Sahoo, Junior Assistant.
